The 2004 National High School Essay Contest on the UN
The Wake County Chapter of UNA/USA is sponsoring a local competition of the 2004 National High School Essay Contest on the UN "HOW SHOULD THE U. S. BALANCE ITS NATIONAL INTERESTS WITH ITS OBLIGATIONS AS A U. N. MEMBER STATE?" All Wake County high school students are eligible to submit entries to the local UNA-USA Chapter (Wake County Chapter). The Wake County winner will be submitted to the National Contest and 10 finalists nationwide will be chosen to have their essays reviewed by a National Panel of Experts. Wake County Awards:
The 1st Place winner will be submitted to the National Contest Essays must be submitted to the Wake County Chapter by January 5, 2004 with the National Essay Contest Student Application Form that can be found in the United Nations Association-USA website, www.unausa.org To learn more about the local contest and how to enter, contact: I.
