Behjat Dehghan, Founder and the Director of Association of International Women for Human Rights (AIWHR)
Topic: "United Nations reform and Gender Equality."

Background:

Beth McAllister is the Former president of the League of Women Voters in Wake County and the leader of Equal Rights Amendment in North Carolina.

Behjat Deghan is a member of the UNA-Wake County Board; Counsultant on gender equality for middle east and North America; she just returned from the CSW  (Commission on Status of Women) annual meeting in New York. She was a caucus coordinator on "early age marriage" and speaker on a panel on "Run Away Girls in Iran"

It is important to make reservations in order for us to contract for the dinner.

Place:

The Oak Room under the Belk Dining Room at Meredith College. Enter the Meredith campus from the Faircloth Road entrance off Wade Avenue, turn right at the stop sign, and follow the road up the hill until there are parking places on both sides of the street — the dining hall will be on your left. If no parking space is open, back track and go left into the staff parking lot.
